  • Supernaturalists’ essential arguments are the ones from personal incredulity and from ignorance. They cannot fathom that order and chaos and regularity and natural laws inhere in Existence.
    They cannot fathom that to query why is there something rather than nothing is just incredulous as how could nothing exist [The ” nothing ” of astrophysics is the something of the quantum fields.] and answer with the argument from ignorance- God did it!
    We naturalists use the argument from scientific incredulity, based on the conservation of knowledge. Without evidence, we find it incredulous for perpetual motion machines or phlogiston to exist.
